Candle Magick

 I do not have to use certain colored candles myself. I’ll use whatever candle I have at hand. But, I do think color in and of  itself is important for psychological reasons.

The use of colored candles does not have to be focused on spells. The importance of colored candles, are used for certain holidays or specific rituals. For a hand fasting, for example I do not think one would want to use black candles. Wicca draws importance from colored candles, but there are many beliefs including traditional witchcraft that do not lay so much importance on the color of candles. This is not to say one belief is better than the other.
